(FNA)- Iranian Ambassador to Beirut Mohammad Fath-Ali underlined Tehran's enthusiasm for making and developing joint investment projects with Lebanon.

"There is a good opportunity for the two countries' investors to identify investment opportunities within the framework of joint cooperation so that the two countries' relations will be strengthened in different economic, industrial and trade aspects," Fath-Ali said in a meeting with Lebanese Industries Minister Hussein Haj Hassan on Wednesday.

Stressing that Iran has gained good achievements in different scientific and industrial fields, he announced the country's preparedness to share its experiences with Lebanon.

Haj Hassan, for his part, underscored the existing grounds for increasing economic, industrial and trade cooperation between Tehran and Beirut, and said, "Lebanon enjoys good potentials for the investment of the Iranian businessmen and we are ready to strengthen the two countries' cooperation in these arenas."

In a similar event in June, Fath-Ali in a meeting with Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Saeb Salam stressed the necessity for the implementation of the Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and agreements signed between the two countries.

During the meeting in Beirut, the two sides discussed the developments in Lebanon and the region and ways to expand relations between Tehran and Beirut.

Fath-Ali pointed to the brotherly and friendly relations between Iran and Lebanon and the endorsement of several MoUs in different fields between the two countries, and called for making necessary preparations by the Lebanese government to execute the MoUs.
