President: Iran to do all it can to solve regional problems

Tehran, July 29, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani said on Tuesday that Iran will do its best to solve problems of the region.

Addressing his cabinet on the Eid-ul-Fitr (Fast breaking feast) here on Tuesday, President Rouhani said continued stability in the region will favor all the regional countries and the Isalmic Republic of Iran will do all it can to remove regional problems based on its humanitarian and religious duties.


The President congratulated his cabinet on the auspicious Eid-ul-Fitr and hoped that through mutual cooperation and relations, Iran can be a model of safe country lying in a stable region.

Elsewhere in his address, the President pointed to sensitive conditions in the region, especially Zionist regimeˈs merciless attacks on people of Gaza and said he hoped stability and security would be restored in the region and problems of the regional states, including Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Palestine would be solved.

Also referring to his consultation with the Turkish Prime Minister and Qatari Emir for more cooperation among regional states to solve problem of Palestinian, especially Gazansˈ problems, President Rouhani said officials of Iranian establishment had acted on Palestine issue in Gaza ast they could and ˈWe consider it as our religious and human duty.ˈ

He said Zionists crimes are not tolerable by anybody and Iranian people have always been on the scene. ˈUndoubtely, when observing pressures and hardships of Gazans, they feel pain and agony.ˈ

He hoped that all Muslims of the world will act on their human and Islamic duties in the face of Zionist regimeˈs savage attcks.

Concluding his remarks, President Rouhani hoped that the problems facing the region and the world will be settled and friendship and brotherhood will govern the society.
