Envoy: Iranian officials trying to help stop siege of Gaza

IRNA – Iranian Ambassador to Baku Mohsen Pakayeen underlined that the countryˈs officials are increasing their efforts to stop genocide of the Palestinians by Israel in the Gaza Strip.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has invited the foreign ministers of the Non-Aligned Movement to attend a one-day meeting of the NAM in Tehran next week,ˈ Pakayeen told the Azeri Trend news agency on Wednesday.



He noted that today all free thinkers of the Muslim world and the world should break the siege of Gaza by supporting the resistance forces and also do their best to halt the relentless attacks on defenseless Palestinians and providing relief aid to the people of Palestine.



The Iranian ambassador underlined the need to increase the international efforts, specially the Muslim countries, to help the defenseless people of Gaza by providing them with immediate help in terms of foodstuff and medical needs.



Israelˈ s attacks on the Gaza Strip, specially the Northern parts are continuing relentlessly and silent support of the international organizations and the Western countries are the main incentive for the regime to continue genocide in Palestine.
