-Moscow: Erdogan officially apologized
A Kremlin spokesman said that Erdogan has finally expressed his apologies to Putin for the killing of a Russian pilot in the downing of a Russian jetfighter in Syrian skies.
-Biden: Assad cannot be removed by force
In an unprecedented statement, the US Vice President stated that the US cannot remove Bashar Assad from power and if Turkey wishes to do so, it must do it alone.
IRAN
-Velayati: Diplomacy must not stop
In an interview with this newspaper, Ali Akbar Velayati stated that negotiations for JCPOA implementation must continue and diplomacy must not be stopped due to the different viewpoints which are expressed in this regard.
-Shamkhani visits Russia
The Secretary of Iran’s National Security Council is visiting Russia to negotiate with high-ranking officials of this country about different issues, including the situation in the region and the Syrian crisis.
