Tehran's Daily Newspaper Review
Iran marked the demise of Islamic Republic founder Ayatollah Khomeini and the uprising of citizens against the last Shah of Iran, in 1963, on Saturday and Sunday. Ayatollah Khamenei’s remarks in Ayatollah Khomeini’s mausoleum in southeast Tehran were covered broadly by the newspapers, as was the news of Yemen’s Ali Abdullah Saleh’s flee to Saudi Arabia.
