ISNA-Commander of the Aerospace Division of Iranian Islamic Revolution's Guards Corps Brigadier-General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said on Saturday the country's defense power does not represent a threat to regional states.

"Iran launched two experimental missiles with the range of 1900 km to North of Indian Ocean in February and American boats and air planes had witnessed the missiles hit the target. Iran has no problem for launch of the missiles," he told a press conference.

"Iran's missile launching activities used to be mixture of right and wrong measures so far. But today Iran's Defense Ministry is so capable that it can measure range of the missiles precisely and there is no need to such tests," he added.

Elsewhere, he referred to Iran's Great Prophet 6 war game and said, "practicing new tactics, testing upgraded devices, new equipment and evaluating readiness of the units and the personnel are major goals of the war game."

"Some countries which are at odds with Iran had raised concerns over Great Prophet 6 war game, but I have not heard any concern raised by regional states," he noted.

"As we have already said our move is totally for defense purposes and we need to be powerful to protect our Islamic country and we continue to get stronger as far as we reach the point of full deterrence. Today we have reached the level and threats against the country have been faded away. Our defense power will not pose any threat against the region."
