The Municipality has cleared the monument in a central square off of the controversial symbol.
Stars of David Demolished  at the Heart of Tehran
 After rows of protests, Tehran Municipality finally decided to demolish the controversial Magen David patterns off the Enqelab-e Eslami (The Islamic Revolution) Square.



The initial monument, depicting the Revolution Leader Ayatollah Khomeini and the process of the 1979 revolution.
