IRIB - Islamic Republic of Iran has no problem in terms of foreign currencies, Governor of Central Bank of Iran Mahmoud Bahmani said on Monday.

He was talking to reporters upon arrival at Sanandaj airport accompanying 1st Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi.

“Iran’s import volume is about 70 billion dollars annually while its annual oil income stands at 90 billion dollars and therefore there is no foreign exchange problem," Bahmani said.

The CBI governor reiterated that Iran's banking system had predicted the current gold market problems three years earlier; therefore now there is enough gold to meet the public demands.

Bahmani said CBI is minting 1.5 million gold coins and there is no shortage in this regard.
