NAM Summit, Opportunity for Growth of Investment in the Country

-The West has made great efforts to show the Islamic Republic as an isolated country.

-The presence of most of the invited countries in the NAM Summit indicates the "status of the Islamic Republic". The presence of 40-50 invited countries in the norm of previously held summits is desirable. When 30% of the heads of states attend a summit, it is considered a norm for its success.

-Proving the security and stability of the country is also a good opportunity for Iran's economic relations with other countries.

-We should use the opportunity of holding the NAM Summit to develop economic relations during a time when the country is faced with pressure and sanctions.

-The more we are able to bring investors to our country and sign economic contracts and develop our relations with other countries, the more our security will increase and anti-Iran propaganda will be neutralized.

- The Summit has a ceremonial aspect, but its context depends on our diplomatic efforts as the host. It is the job of our diplomacy to transform this summit into an opportunity to develop the investments in the country.

- I believe that the issues of the Islamic Awakening, Palestine or bypassing the West's unilateral sanctions can be elements of negotiations between Iran and participating countries, however, these issues should not necessarily be linked. We can have a diplomatic team which deals with bypassing the sanctions and another team that deals with macro-political issues in the field of diplomacy.

- Despite being members of the Movement, some countries still have dependence on Western countries and the US. They may not agree with us on political issues. However, we can discuss political and economic issues with the majority of NAM members.
