Assad Calls on Syrians to Be Vigilant, Show Massive Turnout in Presidential Elections

(FNA)- President Bashar al-Assad stressed that the happiness expressed by supporters of any presidential candidate should be manifested through national awareness and going to the ballot boxes on time.

President al-Assad called on all Syrian citizens not to use gunfire to express happiness for any occasion, particularly as "We are living elections atmosphere for the first time in Syria's modern history," Syrian Arab News Agency reported.
