Iran, Azerbaijan Discuss Enhancement of All-Out Ties

(FNA)- Senior Iranian and Azeri officials voiced their countries' enthusiasm for promoting bilateral relations in different aspects.

In a meeting between Iranian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi and Azeri Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mostafayev in Baku, the two sides vowed to do their best to pave the ground for further development of mutual cooperation.

Vaezi, who is also the head of joint Iran-Azerbaijan Economic Commission, is in Baku to pave the ground for the upcoming visit of President Hassan Rouhani to the country.

The Iranian minister stressed the various capacities existing in both countries for promoting relations.

Tehran has in recent years focused seriously on development of ties with neighboring countries, including Republic of Azerbaijan which enjoys various commonalties with Iran in religious, historical and cultural fields.
