(FNA)- Russia is extremely interested in entering the Iranian market after sanctions against Tehran are lifted, and is willing to sell automobiles, aircraft, and ships there, Russian Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov announced.

"We are interested in supplies to this country. This concerns the automobile, aircraft, shipbuilding and other industries. We are prepared to work together on conditions of cooperation and joint projects," Manturov told journalists in Khabarovsk, Russia Behind the Headlines reported.

In March, Iran's Ambassador to Russia Mehdi Sanayee said that Tehran and Moscow plan to considerably boost their trade exchanges in the near future.

"The two countries (Iran and Russia) are serious about increasing the value of their trade exchanges to $70 billion," Sanayee told FNA .

He noted that the conditions are set for Iranian investors and industrialists to cooperate with Russian investors, and "utmost use should be made of this opportunity."

Sanayee reiterated that Iranian and Russian banks have facilitated financial transactions between the two countries.

He underlined that Russian investors are willing to further expand their cooperation with Iranian businessmen.
